Mission:
We recognize education as a sociodetriment to health. Education cannot be obtained without lack of guidance or resources. Many students underachieve because of this.
Across the United States, a significant education gap persists, driven by disparities in access to academic resources, mentorship, and college preparation. Many students—especially those from under-resourced schools—lack personalized guidance about coursework, career paths, and the college admissions process. Peer-to-peer mentorship helps bridge that divide. When successful high schoolers share their experiences, strategies, and insights, they make achievement more approachable and relatable for younger students. This guidance not only demystifies academic and college pathways but also builds confidence, motivation, and a sense of belonging—empowering underclassmen to envision and pursue their own success.
What Our Guidance Provides:
Awareness of Options: Many students don’t know about scholarships, QuestBridge, early college programs, or liberal arts colleges.
Application Support: First-gen students may struggle to complete the FAFSA, write personal statements, or prepare for interviews without help.
Navigating Hidden Curriculum: Students from well-resourced backgrounds often benefit from “insider knowledge” like choosing rigorous courses, emailing professors, or networking—skills underserved students must teach themselves.
Who we help:
Middle school, high school, and even college students seeking support, advice, or guidance free of charge!
